Leo Levi

Poem with the acrostic Shelomo, depicting "all creatures" singing and praising the unity of God. Recited in the Italian rite during the daily Morning Prayer. This melody was sung only on Rosh Hashanah (New Year) in the Italian tradition of Padua. The present rendition is characterized by operatic shifts between pianissimo and forte, transitioning at the end of the piece to the prayer recitation mode.
