Founded in 1982 and directed until 1999 by musicologist Dr. Avner Bahat, the Feher Jewish Music Center of Beth Hatefutsoth, the Museum of the Jewish Diaspora in Tel Aviv, Israel, is engaged in the preservation, recording, and promotion of Jewish music, both among the Museum’s visitors and the general public. Access to the database of the music collection is available only at the museum.
Three volume work containing a collection of Hassidic songs. The first volume was published in 1954 or 1955, the second and third volumes, in 1958 or 1959.
560 folk songs from the four collections of Cahan’s folk songs, edited by Max Weinreich.
