This project is dedicated to the publication of translations and editions of primary texts drawn from archives and rare sources, addressing diverse aspects of Jewish music research. These materials include introductions to early music anthologies, autobiographies, correspondence, and articles from historical periodicals. While many of the documents relate directly to sections of this website, such as specific projects or biographies, others are presented for their potential value to future research. Each text is introduced by a brief note on its source and is accompanied by minimal clarifications of names, places, and events mentioned therein.
